Knight Foundation and Mozilla are offering international fellowship for Open News Project in six news organizations around the world. The Knight-Mozilla Fellowship program is designed specifically to engage developers, hackers, engineers, technologists, data crunchers and other people who like to code and bring them into the newsroom as Fellows.

Application should be sent online by August 17, 2013.

University of Westminster offers international scholarships for developing countries. The scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree level. The scholarships will provide full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence, financial need and development potential. Preference will be given to junior faculty members of partner Universities in Vietnam.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is November 1, 2013.

Ministry of Science, Research and Arts of Baden-Württemberg is announcing 15 international fellowships for PhD students in Germany. Fellowships are provided in the field of therapeutic target identification, cardiac-directed vector evolution, and advanced heart delivery technologies at the Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University, Germany. Applicants must have a Master’s degree or diploma in biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmacy or related fields who wish to join an interdisciplinary research network as one of the leading centers for biomedical sciences in Europe.

The Salt Lake Community College is funding ten Wagner Foundation scholarships in the USA. Applicants must be incoming or continuing SLCC students. US citizens are eligible but priority is given to minority students (American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander, Black and Hispanic) and students from the west side of Salt Lake City or County.
