The Lilly Library of Indiana University offers Mendel research fellowships for international applicants up to $40,000 during the academic year in support of research in the library’s Bernardo Mendel collections. The amount of the stipend is based on the length of stay, which may range from one week to a full academic year. The fellowship is intended to cover travel to the Lilly Library and living expenses while in residence. No applications will be accepted in the fall of 2013.
The next application deadline is April 15, 2014.
The University of Sydney is offering scholarships for undergraduate students in Australia. Australian, New Zealand and International students (if undergraduate studies were undertaken at the University of Sydney) can apply for the scholarships. Honours scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and personal attributes such as leadership and creativity.

The School of Biomedical Sciences, University of Edinburgh offers masters scholarships in Science Communication and Public Engagement in UK. The scholarships will be awarded to international (non-EU) students who are currently resident in one of the countries on the DAC list of ODA recipients. Students must be liable for the overseas fee rate and have been accepted for admission on a full-time basis for the Master’s programme in Science Communication and Public Engagement. Each will have a value of £5,000 and will be tenable for one academic year.
