University of Hull is offering China SQA HND scholarships and international scholarships in the UK. These scholarships are offered for undergraduate level. China SQA HND scholarships of £2,500 are available to SQA HND final year entry students who have achieved an IELTS 6.5 and overall A grade in their end graded units. International Undergraduate scholarships are of £5,000 and available to outstanding academic achievers joining the school at Level 4 or 5 (Years 1 and 2).
Applications must reach before the deadline of 15 July 2014 for entry in September 2014.
The International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture is offering PhD Scholarships for international students in Germany. Up to 13 scholarships are awarded for one year with the possibility of two extensions of one year each. The PhD scholarship period starts on October 1, 2014 and includes a monthly stipend of approximately €1,468 (plus family allowances when applicable). The main selection criteria are the candidates’ academic qualifications, the academic quality of the research proposal and the suitability of the project for the GCSC’s research programme.

Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences is offering PhD fellowships for international students in Germany. BIGSSS welcomes and promotes diversity and ensures equal opportunity and inclusion for all of its members regardless of ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status and age or (dis-) ability. BIGSSS offers 15 PhD stipends of 1300 Euros/month for 36 months, contingent on successful completion of each year. To support its PhD fellows in achieving early scientific independence, it also provides funds for conducting, presenting and publishing research.

Chalmers University of Technology offers 40 government masters scholarships for international students. Citizens from non-EU/EEA countries who are required to pay tuition fees for Swedish university education except for the following countries: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia are eligible for these scholarships. The scholarship includes a 75% reduction of the tuition fees (4 semesters /2 year programme).

The University of Sydney is offering scholarships for undergraduate students in Australia. Australian, New Zealand and International students (if undergraduate studies were undertaken at the University of Sydney) can apply for the scholarships. Honours scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and personal attributes such as leadership and creativity. Application should be submitted till January 10, 2014.
