University of Twente offers Masters scholarships for students of EU/EEA countries and Non-EU/EEA countries (except Dutch and/or current UT Bachelor students). The scholarships are open for excellent students who are applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at this University. Applicants must comply with the general English language test requirement Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the subscore of speaking skills.
The scholarship value differs from € 6,000 to a maximum of € 25,000 for one year. Application should be submitted till 30th December 2013 and 30th March 2014.
The German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) annually awards 60 doctoral scholarships to young scientists from all disciplines for carrying out research in the field of environmental protection.
Scholarships are awarded for three years. Each scholarship is initially awarded for a period of up to one year. After reviewing the progress of work is usually an extension of one year each. In addition to above-average university degree is expected from the chosen thesis topic that is of high relevance and can contribute to solving problems in environmental protection and nature conservation.

Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, 2014/15
Nanyang Technological University is offering a competitive and prestigious scholarship scheme designed to encourage outstanding graduates or final-year students to take their first step towards a leading research career by studying for a PhD at NTU. There is no restriction as to the nationality of candidates but all things being equal, preference will be given to Singapore citizens and Singapore permanent residents. Master’s Scholarships for International Students at University of Bern in Switzerland, 2014/15
University of Bern is offering master’s scholarships for foreign students. Six outstanding foreign students are eligible for monthly financial support for the duration of a master’s programme. The Master Grant is awarded for all programmes offered by the University of Bern with the exception of Biomedical Science. The monthly payment is 1’600 Swiss Francs (for further information on costs of living in Switzerland). The Grant is first awarded for a period of 13 months starting 1st September 2014.
