Scholarship for Women in Engineering

There are many organizations offering grants and scholarships for Women applicants who are pursuing a career in engineering. Engineering is probably the most opted field by the students worldwide. There are many engineering scholarships available for international women students and students of developing countries to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes. Scholarship Program: Amelia Earhart Fellowships for International Women Applicants

Level of Study: Fellowships are available to women registered in a full-time Ph.D./doctoral program for pursuing pursuing advanced studies.
Scholarships Description: The Fellowship of US$10,000, awarded to 35 Fellows around the globe each year, may be used at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees in these fields. For domestic and foreign recipients studying  in the US, Fellowship funds used for tuition, books, fees, supplies or required equipment for the program of study are not considered taxable income.

Level of Study: This scholarship is for pursuing 4th year [e.g. BSc (Honors) or equivalent] of study at tertiary level.
Scholarships Description: The Association of South African Women in Science and Engineering (SAWISE) and the Hope Network is funding SAWISE scholarships for sub-Saharan women applicants. Two scholarships are offered which includes: SAWISE Angus Scholarship and SAWISE Hope Scholarship for pursuing 4th year [e.g. BSc (Honors) or equivalent] of study at tertiary level. The scholarship is tenable at South African universities.
