Our educational programs are student centered and ensure student engagement with hands-on learning opportunities and caring teacher support. The lifestyle in our communities is enhanced by the mild weather that allows us to canoe, hike, kayak, bike, and enjoy the beach in the summer without heat exhaustion and ski, snowboard, curl, and trek in the winter without freezing. This nostalgic area where nature blends with the subtle hint of economic development, soothes the soul as it brings to life the spirit, friendliness, and helpful spirit that has slipped away form so many large, metropolitan cities.

Activities
Our activity program is awesome! Each month we have a unique activity to encourage new friendships, fun, adventure, and trying something new with our students. These activities are free!
- September – River Rafting and
- Orientation Scavenger Hunt – UN Teams with Canadian Students (high school students only)
- October – Curling (everyone)
- Leadership camping trip to Dutch Harbour (high school students only)
- November – Ainsworth Hotsprings (everyone)
- December – Pantomime (Live theatre production at the Capitol Theatre)
- January – Junior A Maple Leafs – hockey game (everyone)
- February – Lunar New Year Celebration – dinner, presentations by students, entertainment, pinata fun
- March – Bowling Party
- April – Trip to Castlegar for a movie and shopping
- May – Trip to Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise or Whistler/BlackComb (a cost will apply for the activity)
- June - Farewell banquet, games, and presentation of certificates
