The Food Security Center (FSC) is offering up to four visiting Sandwich scholarships for PhD students to pursue research at a partner institute, research center or development organization located in a developing country. The monthly grant is 500 Euros. In addition, FSC pays for traveling to/from the partner institute. Health insurance and other costs must be paid for from the stipend. Scholarships are awarded for a period of six months in 2014.

The deadline of application is January 19, 2014.

The School of History is offering four scholarships for MA students. The Scholarships are available to UK, EU and overseas students and both Taught and Research students are eligible to apply. Scholarships cover tuition fees at the home/EU rate as well as a maintenance bursary. Applicants must hold a good bachelor’s degree (First or high 2:1) in a relevant subject; it is strongly recommended that they have a History background.

The application deadline is 31 January 2014.

Hague University offers a total of 9 World Citizen Talent scholarships to students who would like to start their Master programme during the academic year 2014-2015. At € 5,000 each, the scholarships cover a large sum of the university’s tuition fee and will only be awarded once. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee waiver.

The application deadline is 31st of March 2014.

Daewoo Corporation offers scholarship for graduate students (Master’s or doctoral) to pursue advanced degrees at George Washington University. Students of Vietnam can apply for the scholarship. Scholarship of up to $10,000 (fees excluded) for the period of one academic year will be awarded. Renewal applications may be submitted to renew the Scholarship for one to four additional years, depending upon the program of study.

The application deadline is 7 March 2014.

Sciences Po offers Emile-Boutmy Scholarship for international students from outside the European Union. Eligible students are those who are first time applicants, from a non-European Union state, whose household does not file taxes within the European Union and who have been admitted to the undergraduate or master’s programme. Scholarships are offered for three years to the undergraduate programme and two years to the masters.

The application deadline for undergraduate programme is 2nd May, 2014 and for master’s programme is 3 April, 2014.
