Each year, Government of Sri Lanka offers 100 scholarships for foreign students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degree commencing in December 2013 in Sri Lanka. Scholarships are open for courses of studies other than Medical & Dental Sciences. Every student is required to undergo an HIV/AIDS test within a month after arrival. Candidates should apply for this scholarship with the recommendation of the government scholarship nominating agency (Ministry/Institution) of the respective country till 15.10. 2013.

Omidyar postdoctoral fellowship is open for international students at Santa Fe Institute, New Mexico in USA. Omidyar Fellows spend up to three years in residence at SFI, where they contribute to SFI’s research in the sciences of complexity and become the “new leadership for new science.” Omidyar Fellows will also participate in a provocative training program structured to develop leadership skills throughout their three-year residencies and beyond. Application must be submitted via online by 25 October 2013.
