Canadian Government Announces $147.9 Million Grant for Foreign Students

The Canadian Government has declared an amazing opportunity for students of Canada as well as the international students’ panel to get scholarships and funding for their studies abroad. This is an amazing opportunity for students who are aspiring to take their studies further but do not possess the resources to pursue their education abroad.

Minister Jim Carr stated that over $147.9 million dollars would be invested for five years program. The finding procedure is planned and initiated by the International Education society with the sole aim of sending eligible and talented students abroad to create a strong career and excel in their academics.

The funding will be given to students via an open competition; the winners in this competition will get a scholarship worth $5000 to $10000. Along with providing scholarships to the eligible students, they will also be granted with faster visa processing possibilities as well.

This initiative is not only benefiting students who aspire to study abroad but also helping Canada’s education system partially. They are taking strong initiative in sending efficient students abroad and also getting capable international students to study in Canada.

This funding initiative is hence regarded as a mutual benefit system. For example, France has got 33% of students who travel abroad to study. Hence this funding initiative will help the universities and colleges of Canada welcome a number of international students, such as the French pupils aspiring to go out and carry on their academics.

Traveling abroad and getting enrolled in the course of a well-known university outside is not only going to enrich a student’s academic situation but also help them evolve as a person. It provides them with multiple opportunities, and there is undoubtedly a lot more exposure when we travel out of our country to study.
