Eligibility: The Nordstrom Scholarship is open to high school juniors who:
- -Live and attend school in a state with a Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack store. Not sure if there’s a store in your state?
- -Have at least a 2.7 GPA.
- -Volunteer or participate in community service or extracurricular activities.
- -Plan on attending an accredited college or university during all four years over which the scholarship is distributed. (The scholarship is paid out in equal installments of $2,500.)
- -Plan on applying for financial assistance in order to attend college.

Scholarship Description: Nordstrom is excited to award $10,000 scholarships to 80 outstanding high school students to help them achieve their dreams of going to college. The Nordstrom Scholarship recognizes students across the country for their exceptional scholastic achievement and community involvement.

Duration of award(s): These Nordstrom Scholarships are offered for 4 years.
What does it cover? Scholars will receive up to $10,000 paid over four years in equal installments of $2,500, made payable to the scholar’s institution. Award checks will be sent to the institution’s Office of Student Financial Aid in August 2015. The school will be directed to divide the award by term (semester/trimester/quarter). In most cases the award will be credited to the student’s billing account to be used for educational expenses: tuition, books, fees, housing, and other costs normally associated with full-time enrollment.
- Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement, awards/honors, leadership, school activities, community/volunteer activities, financial and employment history. Awards are granted without regard to race, creed, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
- Notification: Semi-finalists will be notified via e-mail. All finalists are interviewed via videoconference. Winners will be notified by the end of October 2014.
