INSEARCH to UTS Pathways Scholarship in Australia, 2014

University of Technology Sydney is offering undergraduate scholarship for international students. To be eligible for this undergraduate scholarship, applicants must have completed or be completing an INSEARCH Diploma in Sydney, Australia. UTS will pay for each recipient’s UTS tuition fees for the course enrolled and for the duration of the scholarship.

 

February 9, 2014 is the application deadline.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the Scholarship, you must have completed or be completing an INSEARCH Diploma in Sydney, Australia.


-In addition, applicants must also meet the following criteria:
-Be an International Student (neither an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen nor permanent resident); and
-Meet the UTS admission criteria for the selected UTS undergraduate degree course; and
-Be commencing studies in a UTS undergraduate degree in the next available intake after completion of the INSEARCH Diploma.


Scholarship Open for International Students: International students (Except Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen) have completed or be completing an INSEARCH Diploma in Sydney, Australia can apply for this scholarship.


Scholarship Description: The UTS: INSEARCH to UTS Pathways Scholarship has been established to support high achieving UTS: INSEARCH graduates who wish to continue their studies in an undergraduate degree at UTS. It is awarded to an international student who is progressing directly into UTS from the INSEARCH Diploma program.

 

  • Number of award(s): Two new Recipients will be awarded the Scholarship each year at the time of admission to the UTS degree course, one Recipient will be awarded in each of the Autumn and Spring Semester intakes.
  • Duration of award(s): The duration of the Scholarship depend on the number of semesters required for completion of the recipient’s enrolled undergraduate course, as specified in the letter of offer for admission to the course.
  • What does it cover? The recipient will have their tuition fees paid for the duration of their enrolled undergraduate course.


Selection Criteria: Academic merit based on their INSEARCH Diploma results (credit average or above)

 

  • -Demonstrated motivation to succeed in the chosen UTS degree program
  • -Demonstrated commitment to utilise the UTS degree to contribute to their community
  • -Evidence that the scholarship will significantly increase the likelihood that the applicant will be able to complete the degree at a higher level of performance.

Notification: Eligible candidates will be presented to a Scholarships Committee, which will undertake the selection of recipients, usually in mid February and July.
